1/🧵 I have reviewed the House of Lords amendments to the Data (Use and Access) Bill by Ralph Palmer and James Arbuthnot, which were endorsed by Sex Matters.

The amendments would enable hate groups to operate a discrimination-on-demand service, which is dangerous and incompatible with the ECHR.

In short, a trans person denies being trans out of fear of being harmed. Gets outed. Is immediately threatened, harmed and almost murdered

I suppose it's easier to take this stance when you're not one of the marginalised people she is drumming up hate against. Personally, I prefer not to spend my days reading about how I am danger to society which should be eradicated.
