Saying to be against gen ai “is ableist” is actual ableism! You’re not only dismissing thousands of years of art and work done by disabled people, who have always been creating, but by supporting ai you also cutting off a big source of income for many disabled artists on top of stealing their work

Not to be unkind, but I am so impatient about the “what’s the point of making my little zines/comics/crafts/art when the world is on fire” sentiments. I get it, but saving the world is not a responsibility shouldered by your art! That’s what being a neighbor, a friend, and hell, a citizen is for!!!

Best you can do is live your life and conduct your interactions in a way that the folks in your sphere know that you love them and will go to bat for them and do what you can to defend them against hate. If they think that's in spite of your faith rather than because of it, that is what it is.
