That doesn't get you off the hook, April. Your vote on record is what people will remember, not what you say nearly a year later. Maybe you should have thought about the potential legacy of it that everyone with eyes saw from a mile away before you voted for it.

I'm already doing the jobs of teaching, curriculum development, part-time social worker/therapist, crisis interventionist, & possible bodyguard during a school shooting, plus a hell of a lot of parenting (& I don't have kids.) So, definitely agree that AI, & its real harms, is a problem I don't need
