My take on the latest greyhound injuries stats - 1 in 8 racing greyhounds injured in 2024. About 1 in 15 killed. The State subsidised the sport with €19.8m in funding last year:

Britain’s Coal Age ended not with a bang but a quiet flick of a switch. The last coal power station was recently shut down and the nation that birthed the steam engine no longer burns coal for energy – a milestone we barely noticed. So, what are the implications? | Janne Korhonen
The momentous and forgotten end of coal power
The end of coal power marked a key moment in the UK's transition to clean energy. Did anyone notice?

Crayford is reputed to be one of the most dangerous tracks in the UK and although GBGB have individual track data, they refuse to publish it.
