Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

when i look at kirby air riders i struggle so immensely on wanting to buy it bc that’s all i’d be buying the switch 2 for and nintendo’s business practices as of late aren’t helping. like $520 for a console and game that isn’t truly mine. like… i think i have enough of a steam library…

Very, very few comic book creators can survive on just the money they make from comics. It is an inherently unstable job and it is only getting worse as time goes on. Don't ever be embarrassed or ashamed of needing another job so that you can keep making comics.
