if you need an example of how adoption can fuck with a kid here is my story: at 7 one of my brothers began SAing me. he told me if I told anyone they would send me back to an orphanage bc he was their "real kid" and I wasn't. I believed him and the abuse lasted for years. this was my "family"

Helene has now grown into an “extremely dangerous” Category 4 hurricane, and is expected to bring hurricane-strength winds and rain to the southeastern U.S. Track where the storm is now and see the path it’s projected to take.
