Why did it take several days for Trump’s “Quiet, Piggy” insult of a female reporter to gain traction in news coverage? Because it happened on a Friday night, when many journalists had started their weekend. And because, sadly, he's trained the media to think accepting his insults is part of the job.

Apart from being obviously awful you can see from the flash of anger on his face that he is feeling *completely* out of control about this situation. Reminds me of the interview he bailed on in the ESPN 30 for 30, “Who Killed the USFL,” when he was confronted on his failures by a reporter
