Chuck Schumer has shown himself not up to the task.

He must be replaced as Leader.

Chuck Schumer has not met this moment and Senate Democrats would be wise to move on from his leadership.

Here's how you know Chuck Schumer sold us out for a 2026 attack ad talking point:

They sold us out for a 2026 attack ad and none of the people who voted for it will even be on the ballot.

So yeah. That's a DSCC leadership plot using unaccountable Senators as the cudgel.

One point worth emphasizing here: The punditry has been saying Sherrill (and Spanberger) represent the sane centrist wing of the party versus the left. Well, okay, but here Sherrill is urging more fight. Again, the results show that anti-Trump + affordability can *unite* the party. This shows how.
This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.

Last night’s capitulation to the Trumpists was disgraceful.

And there is one person who bears 100% of the blame, Chuck Schumer.

He must be replaced immediately by a Senator who understands what the American people are saying loudly and clear, Fight Trump, lower costs.

Kick Chuck to the Curb.

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Keep hearing @cortezmasto.senate.gov is leader of Senate Dem's Cave caucus. She's voted with Rs throughout. Why?

Eked out a close win in 2022 because of hard work of Culinary & other NV activists

Other biggest accomplishment before this was getting Emil Bove his 3rd Circuit seat

Seriously who is advising Dem Senators on this fucked up strategy? Just themselves and their savvy strategists?

It's like they just do not care what the base thinks - even after last week's stunningly good elections. I know it's a bubble up there on the hill but this seems especially reckless
“A promise of a vote on healthcare” is nothing

Chuck Schumer is definitely going to lose his job if the Dems cave on the first counter to their compromise. With nothing on health care.

Trump is full of shutdown contradictions
The president ignores his own role in Republicans' election wipeout, and the contradictions in his policies and messaging during the shutdown.

What if the real GOP political realignment was all the oligarchs and corporate titans who bent the knee along the way
Dem gains in this week's elections erased the inroads Trump made with non-white, young, and low-income voters in 2024. In fact, the R-to-D shift from 24 to 25 is double Trump's gains from 20-24. Claims of a GOP political realignment have been highly exaggerated

I asked a neighbor to continue walking my kids to school and I turned back to document and confront the ICE agents.
