If only. What if Adolph got into art school in Vienna?
He did want to be a Broadway producer, and he tried, and he failed. And here we are.

Well deserved recognition of his monstrous, cruel, destructive first 3 months. The public is taking notice of the disastrous results of this incompetent, grifting administration!
The two lowest Presidential approval ratings ever registered at the 100 day mark of the term are both held by Trump (2017 and 2025). And he was ten points lower than the next lowest President.

Dismissing millions who are passionate, motivated and disgusted.

Was one of the "people". Hope my check is in the mail!
Must’ve cost big bucks to pay millions of people in 1,100 cities.

BEST signs of the day at Mount Kisco rally! Great turnout and energy! Engaged and enraged!!

This should be required reading for every American. It is shameless, cruel and infuriating what OUR government is doing.
April 5, 2025 at 3:57 PM
Epic! Inspiring! What an awesome display of strength and passion!
Bravo Senator Booker. I mean fricking huge bravo! I sure hope other political leaders step up like he is doing.

Epic moment!
So happy I did not miss Maizie Hirono saying "WTF" about Trump's all-out assault on the rule of law.

Disgraceful. Cruel. Inhumane. Tragic.

The suffering of these innocent souls is horrific.
Oh my god. They deported a man who an immigration judge had declared was "more likely than not" to face persecution in El Salvador ... to El Salvador, during the big March 15 AEA flights!

They outright admit it! Yet the Trump admin's response to a court is basically "oops, well, no take backsies."

So predictable. Trump's distraction tap dance. Don't look at the unqualified cabinet and signal gate fiasco. Look at third term bombshell! Media falls right in line!
He’s trolling to get you upset. He doesn’t want to seem like a lame duck. The constitution is clear on this.

And to those who want to reply with something nihilistic: nihilism only helps authoritarian movements.

Trump is doing his distraction tap dance. Look here! Third term! Don't look at a national security fiasco perpetrated by his unqualified cabinet!!
I swear, our republic is going to die for ratings.

We share the same outage and we share the same last name!
There is no end game. They have no plan except to keep destroying things.
March 28, 2025 at 8:18 PM
Another tragic example of our country's erosion of respect, inclusion and honor. The crassness and cruelty is infuriating. How does our nation recover from this onslaught?
February 15, 2025 at 6:56 PM
Nasty and cruel. That's always his MO.
Trump: I feel sorry for Mitch. He's not equipped mentally. He wasn't equipped 10 years ago mentally in my opinion. Let the Republican party go to hell. If I didn't come along, the Republican party wouldn't exist right now. He endorsed me.
February 13, 2025 at 8:54 PM
Who is the counter voice who can punch back at this disgraceful, dishonest, crude and cruel man? We are 10 days into the national destruction and blatant racism Trump will reign on this country. A STRONG VOICE is needed now and every day to communicate truth and uncover this abhorrent bully.
There are no words that adequately describe the disgrace of this man that American voters chose to lead this country.

And it is no accident that Trump’s prime directive is always first to project the mediocrity, incompetence, cowardice & immorality of he & his cohorts onto Black & Latino ppl.
Reporter: I’m trying to figure out how you can come to the conclusion that diversity had something to do with this crash?

Trump: Because I have common sense and unfortunately a lot of people don’t

Am on the Shark Tank rerun train too. Renews belief in ingenuity, perseverance and how so many well educated people from all over the world came to America to fulfill their dream. It's heartbreaking to think that may not happen again for many years.

Immunity! Allows for anything, everything including total abuse and destruction of our legal system. Trump will take advantage of that privilege as often as he can!
The kid is a MASSIVE drug dealer, but the law doesn’t matter anymore…
This is NOT a reason for exercising the pardon power & it's not a legitimate use of presidential authority even if Trump is legally entitled to do it. Rewarding people for their political support of your candidacy by pardoning their kids is a sign of political corruption.
January 22, 2025 at 4:19 PM
Trump was just named "Person of the Year". The bar is so low it's subterranean. He is nominating avatars with all his horrifying cabinet nominees. Because he can! The cowering GOP are looking at the Time magazine cover and smiling at their dear leader.
..escape, confiscated her phone, and raped her. The victim believes she was drugged.

Serious question. When existing agencies and long-standing successful programs are obliterated, when scientific/health evidence dismissed and demonized, when the DT admin destroys, dismantles and fires thousands, how long will it take to rebuild and restore confidence in these institutions?
December 1, 2024 at 8:52 PM
Does anyone know of Trump can pardon Rudy and he won't be obligated to pay the fine? That would be tragic for these two women who have suffered unnecessarily.

What you post and share - day in/day out - is essential, informative and at times terrifying. All much needed!
I report on the Republican Party, right-wing media, and elected officials. I have tried to do that over the years in a way that I think most Dems appreciate. However, if your plan is to wall yourself off from ever hearing or seeing a single word from a Repub ever again, I’m not the guy to follow.
November 22, 2024 at 6:13 PM
Truth! Dems fold, whimper and don't show strength. They must be as ruthless, shameless and loud as the GOP who will lie, coverup and proactively be in unison. Trump will run them over if they don't begin to adopt a strong oppo pov. Now!!!
Today's podcast: Take it from me, a former right wing culture war fighter. Dems are losing the culture wars. Which is crazy because most of America is with Dems on culture war issues. Why are Dems losing? They don't engage. They cede the culture war. They don't fight shows.acast.com/the-social-c...

Biden should never invited a man to the White House who didn't concede or recognize him as president, a man who incited violence and an insurrection and a man who is making a mockery of democracy. It was a weak and unnecessary gesture of tradition that proved meaningless.
To President Biden and all elected Democrats: Stop playing by rules that no longer exist. At this point, it's not just spinelessness, it's complicity.

Illuminating and terrifying! Intimidation, death threats, unchecked power, shadow gov players like Guliani, loyalists, groveling sycophants - welcome to Trump 47.
Exclusive: A half-decade ago, a CIA analyst submitted a nine-page memo to the U.S. intelligence community inspector general that would spark Donald Trump’s first impeachment.

The analyst had declined all requests to speak publicly about his actions, until now.
The CIA analyst who triggered Trump’s first impeachment asks: Was it worth it?
The whistleblower’s lonely stand upended his career and put his life at risk. Now he’s speaking about it for the first time.

Terrifying. Absolutely terrifying. No guard rails, no outrage or accountability, no resistance from GOP, media, biz leaders.
jd vance could not be doing more to telegraph that they don’t intend to govern democratically in the least
JD Vance at the Gwinnett, Georgia, field office today: "The most important person in government after the president—it’s not me, and it’s not even the staff members. The most important person in government I think, after the president, for this cycle is going to be the attorney general." 😬 (via CNN)

Antiquated election system. The GOP hasn’t gotten the majority vote in decades. Electoral college should be eliminated!
The most ridiculous thing about US Presidential elections isn't how long the campaign lasts (we're halfway between when Biden dropped out and Election Day); it's the fact that everyone knows that Kamala Harris will win by millions of votes, but we're still not sure who will win the presidency.
