NEWS: Dan Richman — key figure in now-dismissed Comey case — wins motion for return of materials seized from his devices.

Judge finds his rights were violated, orders that DOJ can only access data pursuant to lawful warrant.

Order could complicate efforts to re-indict Comey.

The immigration “judge” allegedly sua sponte — meaning without any request by a party, which is obviously a lie given the circumstances — “corrected” the 2019 order to fix a “scrivener’s error” and order Mr Abrego Garcia deported.

Not surprisingly, Judge Xinis blocked that. What a corrupt act.

ultimately, no one even grieved Charlie Kirk. he was just another thing for the worst people on earth to get outraged over. and when the outrage of real events wasn't enough, they invented new ones.

not even his wife saw his death as anything other than an opportunity.
my read is they were trying to whip up the usual frenzy, but then the effort got blown up by Candace Owens saying The Jews did it
It’s kind of incredible how little has been published about this guy and how little conservatives seem to care. Did people just forget these people were screeching for civil war when they thought he was a liberal?

Nothing exposes how out of touch billionaires are like (for example) asking whether the rest of us would be okay paying 10% more in taxes in place of health insurance premiums.

Like, um... yes. Only if you're a family paying $250K+ in taxes does this seem like a bad deal.
One of the worst parts of the modern condition is having to listen to billionaires airing out the stupidest policy ideas, random musings, and other mental detritus. It’s unbearable.

It's not just social media. Looks like visitors to the US from Europe and other countries that are part of the visa waiver program will have to submit an enormous amount of data about themselves and their families, including DNA, if proposed new rules are accepted

It's not a question of politics or party. Congress has a constitutional obligation to impeach and to remove a president who commits high crimes and misdemeanors and forsakes his solemn oath.

And there has never been a president who has committed as many impeachable offenses than this one.
There's a Hill bubble narrative, posing as savvy realism, in treating impeachment as some radioactive poison and so Democrats must squash any talk of it. But there's zero evidence for that. No polls back it up, nor recent history. It's all just pundit-brained conventional wisdom eating its own tail.

Seems like there might have been valuable evidence in the wreckage after the first or second strike.

So it seems like you'd want to gather that before destroying it.

Unless it seems like you're trying to eliminate evidence that might show the strike was a mistake.

They are openly saying this.

Who would want to live in a country that works like that?

This was a "fuck you" bill. They know $1500 won't pay for squat.
So...Republican senators refused to extend the ACA subsidies today and introduced their own bill to give everyone $1500 in an HSA. That's right. $1500. I guess they really don't want to be re-elected.
