A ‘fun’ thing about living in Glasgow over the past few years is legitimately running late for things because of a superhero. I’ve had Batman, Batgirl, Indiana Jones who is obviously a superhero and now I am late for dinner because of Spider-Man.

I hope other companies are paying attention to the M&S situation. They bring a vexatious complaint with no substance at all, you issue a cowardly apology and completely sell out your employee, they reject your apology and call for a boycott anyway. You can't reason with unreasonable people.

I agree with Starmer that we’re becoming a nation of strangers.
I think, though, it’s due to the ongoing dehumanisation of poor people, people who aren’t white, people who aren’t straight, sick people etc.
It could also be the closure of thousands of community centres and libraries
