It's not fascist to call fascists fascist.

It's not "dehumanizing" to say that terrorizing entire groups of people - which ICE does - is evil.

No executive order can change these facts.

However, people *can* mess things up for fascists by standing up for community and truth. Like this.
"No hate, no fear! Immigrants are welcome here!"

Absolutely massive crowd at the New Yorkers Against ICE march. Blocks long!

just so we’re all clear: the reason they keep using dolls as their example is because they’re trying to frame caring about material stuff as feminine and thus inherently shameful

There are so many ambitious Democratic lawmakers who apparently don't understand how fast their star would rise with tangible, direct actions.

Before this week, Sen. Van Hollen was largely known only to Maryland voters and professional political circles.

Now, the country knows his name. That fast.

WATCH: Sen. Van Hollen says he’s headed to El Salvador tomorrow morning to seek the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia—and to hopefully visit him in prison. "I promised his wife and his family that I would do everything I could 24/7 to try to bring him home. And that's why I am going to El Salvador."

“Hey, hey, Elon, How many kids did you kill today?” admittedly doesn’t rhyme as well as the original.

But that’s not as important as Elon being responsible for the needless deaths of tens of thousands of kids.

A few thoughts about today's protests:

1) The April 5 Hands Off day of action clearly ranks as one of the very largest mobilizations in U.S. history, by two different measures:
-- total national turnout (~ 3 million)
-- number of local protests (~ 1400)

What we're seeing at #handsoff protests nationwide today and what we saw at the ballot box on Tuesday are not unrelated. The public is furious. It will not be silenced. And those who side with Trump and Musk—or refuse to fight back—will be swept out of office.

NEW: There's no reason to act like Trump is pursuing a trade policy or an industrial revitalization strategy.
These are just sanctions, imposed to intimidate countries and companies into submission like they're universities or law firms. They're what a mob boss would do.
