I just found out that in Marvel Rivals if you're playing the Dracula's Castle Map, and you're playing as Moon Knight, when time starts to run out he'll say "Time for Dracula to pay up."
God bless the people shoving as much fanservice into this game as they possibly can.

Huge thanks to anyone who checked out Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite & Beyond. As Director, all I really wanted was for people to find fun in MVCI, the same way me and select others did before. Couldn't be happier & extremely proud of the team that made this all possible.

this reminds me of the time i was verified pre-transition on twitter and posted that "FINAL FANTASY TACTICS IS THE WORST FINAL FANTASY EVERY MADE"

i had college basketball pundits qrting me saying "this is why esports doesn't deserve shit" and it was really weird lmao
I went bluesky level viral today (nearly 20k likes) and I genuinely do not understand how anyone ever went twitter level viral without losing their entire minds

though I rather suspect the answer is that many of them did

Gen ai is poisoning our power grid, stealing intellectual property, using precious water, and ruining the internet with unreliable information and garbage imagery. Don't use it, and don't normalize it, even for laughs.

Alright, the stream worked. So now I can announce the most spur of the moment Charity Stream of all time.
Fight for the Future 2024!
That's right, I hated to think this would be our first year not doing it, so tomorrow at 12PM - 8PM EST we're streaming fighting games for the World Central Kitchen

People feared the computer glitch would mean "the end of the world as we know it." Thankfully, Y2K didn't live up to the hype after years and billions of dollars were spent on painstaking preparation.
Y2K seems like a joke now, but in 1999 people were really freaking out

“hole in the ozone layer” levels of erasure. my mom was a project manager who busted her ass for years to make sure IBM was ready for Y2K and completely succeeded, only for it to get turned into a late night joke. funny how the stories of mass collective action to avoid disaster rarely get told
DAMMIT NPR.

I spent nine months upgrading over TEN THOUSAND desktops at a F500 client. The grand total was over SEVENTY THOUSAND applications upgraded.

Y2K "didn't live up to the hype" because the industry busted ass to duct tape everything first.
