Do a thought experiment: imagine an IRB lost their minds and somehow you're in a double blind trial for blockers. A year goes by and your peers are suddenly developing secondary sex characteristics, getting growth spurts and having vocal changes. You aren't. Is it still a blind trial?

The team behind it is known to favor non-affirming therapy, and came into this opposed to our care. They knew they couldn't disqualify GAC based on the available evidence, so they didn't try. Instead they did a magic trick and said none of it counted because it wasn't blinded.

As headlines explode all over about the Cass Review, here's what you need to know: it contains not a shred of original data. It is a badly done systematic review that excluded the overwhelming majority of available evidence in favor of smaller studies chosen for specious reasons. That's it.

They appointed someone with no experience in gender care or even LGBTQ care more broadly— whose published work isn't even on endocrinology or psychiatry, to create a document that could be used to justify the headlines being pumped out right now as a pretext for moving the restrictions up to age 25.

So far every newspaper is talking about lack of evidence, not one of them has pointed out that they discounted *101* of 103 studies and refused to look at any study from the last 2 years because, reasons

The entire British media establishment is going to do a TLDR on it
Oh lord, the final Cass report is going to be a bloodbath, isn't it? They actually admit that they discarded *98%* of the studies because they "weren't of high enough quality" ie, didn't meet the foregone conclusions reached by the transphobes on the committee (reminder, they refused trans rep on it
