Red Wolf pup sighting! 🐺
About two weeks ago, Red Wolf Oak gave birth to pups in her den but we didn't have confirmed sightings until Monday night. Under the cover of darkness, Oak moved her pups, one at a time, from the den to another location in her enclosure.

There are hundreds of red and Mexican grey wolves already born in captivity that conservation groups are pushing to get released but they need safe and protected places. Not places where they will get hit by cars or shot by ranchers because they came to close to a cow.
in case you're wondering, "what's the harm in claiming an extinct species has been brought back from the dead" when it most certainly has not, our interior secretary is already using it to justify taking animals off the endangered species list
