To be honest #TTRPG folk, my uneasy relationship with the “old school” of the hobby is because while the RPGs of the ‘80s were a huge part of my life, part of the reason they were was I was a deeply frightened gay kid in the closet, and some “old school” types want me to revisit both things.

Sometimes I forget and have to remind myself that a good portion of writing (for TTRPGs or just in general) is just *thinking*.
And sometimes I have to remind myself that sitting there *thinking* for an hour is not a waste of time or goofing off, it’s part of the writing process. I’m still writing.

I made two games for the Eternal Game Jam's May Void Ritual Game Jam. The first, Rest Easy Now, in the Void is a sort of meta joke/non-serious game about saying goodbye to your old RPG characters. It wasn't really inspired by anything, the idea just popped into my head and it made me laugh.
