Given my posting schedule, this may take slightly longer than one year. By which time, twiXter may well no longer functionally exist. Do you think I should continue to write alt texts for these? Doesn’t take long, but I’m unsure of how much value is added for this kind of project.

Ok, back in the saddle again today. Is it too early to decide whether or not my initial one-a-day plan was too ambitious? Who knows. What’s important, to me at least, is that there is still progression happening. It will happen at its own pace.

Ok, we are back with day five. I always did like the look of this particular character. The writing is enjoyable, too, all alternating horizontal and vertical strokes.

Ok! So I did miss two days, largely due to fatigue tied to a belated portion of my daughter’s birthday celebration. However! Unlike past experiences, I am not going to let a minor setback derail my efforts!

No no, I didn’t forget or lose interest already. Just had a bit of a .. complicated evening. Still, I haven’t gone to bed yet, so it counts for day three. As you can see, I was distracted enough that I started my work before taking the traditional “before” pic.

I really, really want to go back in time and show this headline to 16-year-old me.

Trying something a little different. I found this practice pad when clearing out an old box, never used. I’ve been wanting to get back into practicing Japanese, so.. I’m going to do it. And use Bluesky to keep me honest and/or motivated.
