Bruno does a great job breaking down a term that really shouldn't exist. Thank you for this!

There's been so much bad stuff happening lately in the world, but I offer this small bit of happiness. This week, we adopted two wonderful kitties! Duke, 2-yo tuxedo male, is amazingly chill, and Puck, 2-yo black male, is a tiny agent of chaos (/pos). They've already made themselves right at home!

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of our dear Q. Shortly after her 18th birthday she stopped eating, and we had to say goodbye to her a little while ago. We had almost 10 wonderful years together. Please hug your animals a little bit more, bring them as much joy as they bring you.

Here's a Crewel puzzle for you this morning. As a reminder, these are multiple crossword clues woven together. Each clue has the same number of words as there are letters in the answer. Solve the clues, weave the letters together, and you have the answer!

Answer for yesterday's Crewel puzzle:

Inky partner of writing utensil Neil

Inky writing utensil: PEN
Partner of Neil (Simon): ART (Garfunkel)

Reweave the letters, and you get PARENT!

I'm going to start putting some easy puzzles up here. Not daily, because I will forget, but fairly often. I call these Crewel puzzles, after their appearance in the 2022 MITMH.

Multiple crossword clues are woven together. The clues have the same number of words as there are letters in the answer.

Tomorrow is my 40th birthday. I have a habit of self-deprecation and denying myself of anything i might want - food, comfort, etc. So, in the spirit of self-improvement, I am going to ask the universe for something I want very badly.

I want to be in the #Jeopardy Second Chance Tournament. (1/n)

I got some good cookies from the place in the mall, and now I'm going to spend the rest of the night playing Kingdom Hearts 3. It's not my first playthrough, but I enjoy it. Hope you all do what you like tonight!

Over the last several months, I have been investigating rumors that games accessibility advocate Susan Banks, Tubi Hamid, and Deb Vaughan were not real people. Here's what I found: www.ign.com/articles/a-p...

In the years since the alleged death of beloved accessibility advocate Susan Banks, mounting evidence and accounts from those close to her work suggest that she was not the person she claimed to be. I...

Today is the 12th anniversary of me leaving the Navy, and in a few days it'll be my 20th anniversary of joining. I don't talk about it much because to me, it was a job. Not a higher calling, not an act of patriotism. My high-achieving family didn't really understand the concept of flunking out.

On this Father's Day, shout out to my father-in-law. I lost my dad a few years ago (literal days before my wedding), and he's been everything you'd want in a FIL. Thanks Jim.

(Sorry for vagueskeeting) Sometimes life doesn't quite work out the way you hoped. When that happens, you find out who truly has your back, and who wants things out of you. Exceedingly grateful to see how many folks are falling into the first category. I promise to do the same when the time comes.

Will def watch a lot of this new Jeopardy tournament, considering I'm one of the very few people (and possibly the only person in regular season play) who had to face 2 of the JIT contestants at once. (Second Chance, how bout it?) There's some serious talent up there, excited to see it play out!
