I've been feeling the same way, just started as well. I think the Magick system is clever, but having to 1. remember what each omega attack does, 2. get to a good spot to use it, 3. hold the button in the heat of combat, and 4. not die... it requires forethought where the original was more improv

Second Spiritfarer here. It's not necessarily puzzly in the same way, but the art and vibes are incredible, the writing is top notch, there's a lot of room for personal expression on your ship, and the characters you meet are... just wonderful, all the way around!

It's not uncommon to see tour busses outside our mall (not actually in dc but shh), and then you know the chikfila will be swamped. Luckily all the actually decent food is on a different level

No joke, the concept of "lenses-not-boxes" is one of the key points in my intro-level GD class. It frames the medium so elegantly and encourages thoughtful discussion. Thank you Stacey!

We were there too! It was almost sensory overload, there's 10 things happening at once, but they clearly work hard to get the fans into it. (It was also really cool to watch the support staff do their thing, there's some serious training going on)

My mom only made sweet kugel with cinnamon and peaches, so now the concept of a savory kugel is a hard pass. But yeah, gefilte fish has just never been appetizing to me
