I was told I need to be careful expressing my opinions outside of school because I’m a teacher.

To that I say, they would love to suppress teachers as much as they would love to control education.

I don’t bring my politics into the classroom, but I damn well won’t stay silent after school.

🚨 There’s a lot of horrific news out of Washington right now—but you might have missed this: Senate Republicans just introduced a plan to sell off 120 million acres of our public lands.

Let me break down what’s in the bill and why it’s a full-scale land grab. 🧵

@prisonculture.bsky.social and I have been encouraging people to read chapter six of our book, Let This Radicalize You, which deals with the question of "violence" in social movements. We have decided to share the chapter publicly, to offer some context and grounding for the current conversation.

You should investigate and report on why the London, KY tornado was on the ground well before a warning was issued, and how the NWS office nearby used to be staffed 24 hours but have recently been hit by DOGE cuts.

Again, every single day I discover a new reason to hate this soulless fuck.
The full quote from RFK, Jr. is truly disgusting and this is 100% him calling for institutionalization of autistic people. This is horrifying.

I just watched the Rachel @maddow.msnbc.com
Interview with Daniel Berulis and I have never seen anything so compelling, brave & terrifying in my life.

I'm afraid for this man, but so blown away by his courage.

Rachel lays out the story so clearly. We have traitors in the government.

The message is: crowd large.

Many politicians, administrators, and business leaders, in bowing to Trump, have drawn confidence and comfort from the perceived vibe shift.

Events like this puncture that delusion.
You can stop asking where the mass opposition is. It's everywhere.
People poured out to protest not only what Trump has done—and what they fear he will do next.
