A huge step up imo from the previous games that loved to use that really annoying "chant" stuff. I feel it really ruined so many songs in the last few games lol.

I'm starting to think the reason the Kalos starter Megas are distribution only is because the gameplay loop appears to be getting Mega stones after defeating the rogue Megas, and they have some bullshit interior logic that the starters cannot be rogue Megas.

I can't explain why it bothers me so much, but I really don't like that chanting is just a part of every Pokemon soundtrack now.

I'm going to buy both because I am who I am, but releasing Digimon two weeks before Pokemon seems like a bad idea. To capture (heh) the Pokemon audience, it should be coming out with more time so that people will not just decide to wait and save money.

Since the term AI has been poisoned by generative world-burning stuff, we're going to have to go back to calling video game AI routines "the computer." I couldn't beat the final boss because the computer was being cheap, etc.
