Most of the rules and regulations put into place by the EPA only existed in the first place because regular people fought for the right to clean air, water, etc. In a better world we wouldn't have to fight for it again, but we've won this fight before and we will win this fight again.
The EPA will no longer consider how many lives are saved when setting pollution limits, the New York Times reports. Instead, it will consider the cost to businesses of complying with clean air regulations.
