Trump's attacks on the Department of Education should remind us never to elect to high office anyone without a stake in society. We suffered the same in the UK from 2010, when people who used private healthcare and private schools ripped up public services.

Starmer goes full-on Trump by trying to see who can burn the planet fastest www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2025/01... Starmer's plan to extend three London airports is bad regional policy, bad tourism policy and dire for the planet, but now it seems that burning the planet is the political goal.

Musk's fascist salutes are a signal, showing how far he intends to go. They point to the destruction of democracy he seeks, the impunity, the violent pursuit of power.
They point to the empire he wants to build, and to the degradation of all our lives as he sets out to crush our humanity.

Again- Musk’s X posts are so deranged that everyone should be writing to their MPs

…expressing concern that Musk is engaged in a disinformation campaign against the UK government - attempting to foment civil unrest in the UK and endanger the safety of politicians.

Right-wing attacks singling out Sadiq Kahn - who is obviously & demonstrably an exceptionally popular mayor as far as Londoners are concerned - are so blatantly Islamophobic & racist that we don't even say it anymore.

But we should say it. It isn't normal.

My goodness. Not pretty and we must stop being so wasteful. But grit and determination won out. You could see they were playing on empty second half. Would have lost that in the past. My beautiful Cherries #afcb

An excellent performance tonight. We made them look pretty ordinary at times. Just our finishing again. We lost against Chelsea and Brighton because of it but remained very solid at the back tonight #afcb
