The US supports Israel’s killing of Gaza’s civilians (including children) because Gaza harbours or contains the terrorist group, Hamas. This is the fallacy of guilt by association wrongly concluding that children and innocent civilians are guilty.

D Smith wants an apology for the report that the Ab gov interfered in the fire fighting because she gave lots of help to Jasper. This is the Red Herring Fallacy : she diverts the topic away from the original issue by introducing an irrelevant point — her later helpful actions — to distract.

It is so strange to celebrate Canada Day and enjoy the privilege of being Canadian when I live in a province whose leader detests being part of Canada. It is like celebrating the birthday of a parent that you love when one family member detests the parent.

No, the meeting did not go badly for Ukraine. It exposed in the most undeniable, unequivocal way possible the pro-Putin commitments of the president and vice president. That was information Americans and allies needed to have clear before them.
