When will it feel like fall?

I can't stop thinking about this Frederick Douglass quote.

We can't stay silent about the dehumanization and cruelty those claiming Christ are exhibiting in our country. It is antithetical to the gospel, incompatible with Christianity, and the epitome of taking God's name in vain.

There is a direct through line from those saying "touch not God's anointed" when speaking up about pastoral abuse to "don't you love your country?" when speaking against the atrocities happening in this country under the current regime.

Telling someone they aren't allowed to resign from church membership and that private counseling details will be made public if they don't go to a meeting with church leaders is so cult-y.
A former member has sued Grace Community Church, led by prominent evangelical pastor John MacArthur, saying church leaders disclosed confidential information about her during a church service.

Van Orden forgot or just doesn't care that his actual job is representing his constituents with his votes. Instead he'll pass off the responsibility to Evers and lie about the impact.

PLEASE consider the valid concerns of those who voted this administration into power. Yes, millions of people are going to lose their health insurance and/or jobs now but what if a trans person had won a swim meet?? What if pronouns in bio came to life and bit people who could afford medical care???

This is Ethnos360/New Tribes Mission. Hiring an attorney to protect a missionary who abused a child, one they should have already kicked out of the organization based on previous behavior, and then celebrating his ministry service. 🤢

Dangerous stunts by the Trump Administration to arrest judges and threaten arrest of our governor are an attempt to distract and divide us.

They want to stir up chaos and deflect accountability by scapegoating others in hopes we won’t notice as they starve our communities.

I wish I could say this surprises me, but it doesn't. Ethnos360 has failed missionary kids over and over. They've taught us their mission matters and we don't. Proud of this brave MK.
Ethnos360/New Tribes Mission is in the news again with another lawsuit. How many of these awful abuses (that occurred post-GRACE recommendations) does it take for members and supporters to believe there's a problem?

Cheering for the dehumanization of people, no matter who they are or what they've done, is evil. If you don't see a problem with this sick prison porn propaganda, you have lost the plot of what it even means to be a human being. Appalling.

"If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing." 1 Cor. 13:1-2
This was filmed at the White House. It's a meeting of the Faith Advisory Board. If you watch it long enough, you'll get a glimpse of the evil Stephen Miller singing a hymn.
