While Wisconsinites struggle to afford healthcare and put food on the table, this week the GOP-led Wisconsin Legislature is focusing on changing the definition of abortion instead of providing support.

Republicans in Congress like Tom Tiffany are denying Wisconsin families affordable healthcare, food assistance, and relief from rising costs, but are quick to hand out new tax breaks to billionaires.

It’s clear they are on the side of the wealthy few and corporations—not us.

#ICYMI: In a recent interview, WI Supreme Court candidate Maria Lazar voiced her support for state recusal rules written by corporate lobbyists—signaling she’s ready to work in favor of the special interests that wrote the rules to benefit themselves.

WI Republicans like Tom Tiffany and Derrick Van Orden continue to stay silent while food assistance for Wisconsin families is under threat.

They’d rather block affordable healthcare and let Trump undo already-distributed food benefits than stand up for hungry Wisconsinites.
November 13, 2025 at 5:25 PM
Most families cannot even afford a $1000 emergency expense, let alone their healthcare costs tripling overnight.

We need real solutions and Republicans like Derrick Van Orden have a duty to deliver.

Call them at 202-224-3121 and demand they extend the ACA tax credits NOW.
November 12, 2025 at 10:08 PM
When it came to giving a tax break to the ultra wealthy, Republicans like Rep. Tom Tiffany were all on board.

But when our healthcare premiums could rise over 800% for some, they refuse to act to lower costs.

Shameful.

This #VeteransDay, don't forget: while WI Republicans talk about “supporting veterans,” their actions say otherwise—from Derrick Van Orden saying he hopes funding gets cut at the VA to GOP state legislators blocking support for homeless veterans.

Clearly their priorities are in the wrong place.

No matter how they twist it, Wisconsin Republicans have repeatedly refused to meaningfully support our local veterans across the Badger State.

First, MAGA Republicans like Tom Tiffany gutted Medicaid funding in their budget bill. Now, they’re refusing to act as healthcare premiums spike for millions.
