Donald Trump's attacks on U.S. universities and research are an opportunity for other countries that are ready to lure some of the brightest minds in the world.

Years of budget constraints and the ongoing financial chaos from the cap on foreign students mean that Canada's not one of them.

The S&P 500 has lost 10.5% of its value in two days.

Since 1980, we've only seen larger declines three other times: the '87 crash, Nov 2008, and Mar 2020. And those weren't due to policy choices.

This may be the largest self-imposed destruction of wealth ever.

This is a grave and sobering admission: they are not pursuing the “WELL ACTUALLY he broke the law during protests,” they are bragging that they are deporting people for protected speech.
NEW: White House says the arrest and deportation of student activist & legal US resident, Mahmoud Khalil, is a blueprint for more.

The final line here is chilling. The White House specifically says Khalil was not breaking the law.

No evidence, no due process, no crime. He was just disappeared.
