Late on this but Ingram gives up 6 goals on 2.66 expected goals against in all situations. His first poor outing of 4.
In the loss, Ingram gives up 3 goals on 3.42 Expected Goals Against via Moneypuck.
While Wolf was the better goalie tonight, Ingram performed very reasonably all things considered.
Three games with a positive goals saved above expected.

I thought Ingram was a real low-risk bet when they got him. His AHL play this season wasn’t encouraging and so I don’t know if he’s an answer for the Oilers.

I can't for the life of me remember who it was, but I remember a goaltending expert saying that AHL sv% is an inaccurate way to judge goalies because it is too chaotic a league wrt structure, lineup changes, etc. No idea if there is any actual research to back that, or if it was just based on vibes.

Hello friends, my oven appears to be toast. Will likely need to get something new.
