We’re leading a coalition of 17 AGs in support of journalists and protesters challenging DHS’s dangerous use of force during the Los Angeles protests this past summer.

Thankful for outpouring of support from 16 states+DC in our LA Press Club case against DHS.

I started taking screenshots, but too much good stuff to highlight! Check out crowd-control munitions section starting page 8. Bravo!

Undoubtedly dozens of media organizations will write about this case after seeing this thread. Many without citing our scoop. But we don’t have the resources to report out everything we find. If you’d like to fix that, consider a paid subscription to Court Watch www.CourtWatch.news/upgrade

Hi @ktla.com, I broke this story for @lataco.bsky.social yesterday. We were the first news outlet to publish the surveillance footage and report that Rodriguez is a federal agent. Disappointing to not see a "first reported by" credit or link to our website in your story. Do better.

California weather PSA:

Fact: Major SoCal storm *is* likely this weekend, w/2-4 inches of rain & t-storms possible in LA (more in mtns) & notable flood/debris flow risk in some spots.

Context: Snapshots showing ~10 inches of rain are extreme outliers, & very unlikely!

Seriously, you need to read this. Last Saturday in Echo Park was nuts as cops preemptively invaded the area before the World Series was even over and assaulted people with batons, horses and tear gas. @shoton35mm.bsky.social pieced the violence together in fantastic reporting.
