When I evacuated from the hurricane in 2005, the Red Cross offered us cash to help with expenses.
The Salvation Army offered us "a hot meal" which was just a smoked sausage soaked in cheap barbecue sauce with a stale slice of white bread we had to say how thankful we were while getting preached at.

I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

I've had this comic idea that occasionally bubbles back up to the front of my mind. Last few nights I've been developing characters in it and this is tje closest I've felt to my old OC making days in a long time.
Dunno if I'll ever have the energy to make it real though.

oh and I managed to to chip my fucking tooth on a sprinkle from a doughnut.
