what killed these people in these countries was their decades long (arguably centuries long) produced dependency and forced economic situation on behalf of the west. it is not just on musk and trump. it is on capitalism, neoliberal policy and structural adjustment programs etc.

ironically the main reason that led me to become anti-american when i was in school was originally due to the needless over the top enforced patriotism taught to us. this will only make people question authority even more
