now they’re estimating even higher because he’s once again unstable and might not survive anesthesia and could spontaneously go into cardiac arrest. he’s in really bad shape. i just want my nubert back
it’s going to be another 3000 tomorrow. insurance will cover it so long as they have the bill but we don’t get nubert back until it’s verified and that can take weeks so i don’t know what to do.

nubert update: his temp and heart rate are stable enough for now but the mass in his stomach is mostly fluid and they think there might be a string wrapped around his intestine. there’s fear of a perforation leaking gunk into his blood.

Any moderately trained horse can easily be commanded to cross a calm river or to swim out into a lake. Thank you.
