Costco did ask me for a pre-existing condition, but were very helpful identifying which of my chronic thingies was best suited for their form. I walked in after calling to confirm they had novavax. Their paper form also allowed me to specify which brand vax I wanted. (Arundel Mills, MD)

When you publish a website that posts the names and photos of scholars who have written or said things you disagree with and encourage people to surveil and harass them, you are not, in fact, a “free speech” organization.
It is quite simply dishonest to describe TPUSA as a “free speech” organization and not even mention the “Professor Watchlist,” as NPR just did. Reporting on a crime does not entail adopting the victim’s views.

The lack of mainstream coverage of regular huge protests reminds me of a talk from a Twitter employees who explained that they had to drop BLM off the Trending Tags section because otherwise it would have been there permanently. The modern media environment has no appetite for sustained movements.

I am a queer teacher. Queer students find me, both because this is the cosmic ✨️way of things✨️ and because I make myself easy to find. When I was a teenager newly out to myself, I felt very, very alone. So now I try to be a lighthouse, or a mirror, or a stepping stone. It's mutually beneficial.
