Maddow: I think it is a bad mistake to let Joy Reid walk out the door. It is also unnerving to see that on a network where we've got two nonwhite hosts in primetime, both of our nonwhite hosts in primetime are losing their shows, as is Katie Phang on the weekend. I do not defend it.

1. She’s the most consequential female politician of our time. She was a fantastic Speaker, and we owe her a great deal.
2. She needs to realize that it’s time to let the new generation lead and stop trying to block AOC.
Hoping for a full recovery for her.

I want to clarify something for legal purposes. I don’t in fact know if Stephen Miller is a vampire or not. He looks, acts, and talks like one but I don’t in fact know if he drinks blood or will die in direct sunlight. It’s just my opinion that he’s a blood sucking monster.

If the #Superb Court throws it out we know.
If we have the choice (we do) let’s fight it by standing out publicly and calling out our Federal representatives via the services available. Any peeps to provide links? Literal ways to contact Congress?

The birthright citizenship portion of the US Constitution is totally, inarguably unambiguous. No wiggle room. If the supreme court agrees to throw it out they are explicitly throwing out the entire document and our entire system of government.

Pls withhold celebrations over the fall of the Assad regime—the rebels represent a terrorist organization with direct ties to Al-Qaeda, known for conducting mass executions of Christians. While Russia losing its footing is positive, the rest is questionable, cannot be considered a true 'liberation.'

I gotta say that being able to play YouTube links in-app is amazing and it doesn't make me want to leave Bluesky, it makes me want to use it more. I cannot believe what we've been forced to tolerate by tech behemoths for so long in their desperation to prevent access to the rest of the internet.
