One of my points in this thread is that the Burns/ Botstein/ Schmidt (v impt not to forget this isn’t just KB!) documentary is helping get things moving on 2026 *now*. For reasons that had become harder. And it’ll let more happen fr now to July and beyond. Case in pt my local paper w much to add!

It didn't occur to me that one of the problems with getting older is witnessing the culture debate and process the same things over and over. Like, as a historian it's fascinating and useful to analyze these continuities. As a human it's exhausting.
