There’s also an appalling level of credulity to this coverage - as if “separatism” comes out of nowhere. It doesn’t. There’s a whole lot of disinformation and misinformation that fuels it.
I see the CBC has decided that Alberta separatists are very important and need multiple stories about how 25% of the province might vote to leave Canada. Naturally a lot of white people get interviewed and not a single person from a First Nation, who might, you know, have something important to say.
