If you take singing seriously, use a USB mic still but want good quality: make it easy and just get an SM58.
Once you figure your sound out, sure, splurge on a fancier mic, but the SM58 is so neutral it's almost impossible to sound bad with.

Feel like maybe once a year anymore we're lucky to get a game that just truly makes me smile and go "Oh man, this rules" every few minutes.
