All of this is to say, as you might guess, that if I *do* come back to this website for good, it's going to be accompanied by me just cutting the cord on politics. I think the important work for that is done in the real world and I am too easily pissed off to endlessly argue about it.

Now, people often react to the sentiments I state in this thread (which I encourage all of you to read) with a number of defenses, which I'm going to address here point by point. First: "They aren't politicians, why do you care what they think, lmao?"

The Democrats in the real world, the one people live in, are currently speaking out that the 14th Amendment guarantees Birthright Citizenship no matter what SCOTUS says and is publicly building lists of names for trials.

I hate to climb back into the filth for a moment, but- one thing I think is notable, and which *you* guys should think about very seriously, is the fact that Trump is now drawing bright lines between "The GOP", as a broad party, and "MAGA", the True Movement of the Elect.

The thing about defining "winning" as 1) Consisting entirely of crushing your enemies and 2) the only thing that matters is that pursuing this logic makes you fungible with the GOP in all the worst ways.
