My usual experiment to find out how bad LLMs are at technical instructions (wiring a UK plug) as applied to grok. It's just as bad as any other LLM out there:

I told Gemini 3 Pro to "use web technologies to develop a working Kit-kat clock" and here's what it came up with. I've asked other AIs to do this before and this is definitely the best one yet, but it's still far from what a decent human dev would produce. This is after one prompt...

This will rob us of our shared experiences and cultural connections. Eg anyone who grew up in the 90s can connect about listening to Nirvana, Oasis etc regardless of who they are or whether they actually get on as people. Those who grow up with this personalised tech will never have that connection.
