i am begging for cis people to realize that this is the end goal; make existing in the public sphere fundamentally untenable for trans people such that we'll detransition/stay in the closet, or worse. it's never been about women's spaces, or the sanctity of sports, or Protecting The Youth
Attempting to ban trans women from using the women’s restroom isn’t about just making us use the men’s restroom—it’s about trying to make it so unsafe for us to use public restrooms that we disappear from public life.
