America, you f**ked up!

She warned us. She had a plan that would have benefited everyday Americans. But too many ignored her—because it was never really about the economy.

Now folks are scared, struggling—and we’re cooked.

BREAKING

After President Trump was asked about the Yemen Signal group chat, he asked National Security Advisor Mike Waltz to weigh in.

These are the first public comments from Waltz, who reportedly added Atlantic Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Goldberg to the group chat by accident, on the matter.

Court: Answer why you think the equitable powers of this court do not attach to those planes.

DOJ: POTUS has authority outside of the AEA/he has extra powers over an airplane that has entered international airspace and those extra powers allow him to ignore court orders.

Virginians: please call Tim Kaine ASAP. He says this morning he's willing to give up his only leverage by voting for cloture if he also gets a vote on a clean funding bill that Republicans will obviously kill.

He thinks you're stupid. Tell him you're watching:

NO ON CLOTURE, KAINE! (202) 224-4024.

I care deeply about who Michigan will elect as Governor and send to the U.S. Senate next year, but I have decided against competing in either race.

I wrote more here about my decision and how I view the work required of us all in this moment:

Counterintuitive, but: this will crush the US wine industry. Booze gets to market on distributors' trucks. These fleets need volume to run efficiently. Subtract EU wine from the equation & it no longer pencils out. Any gains from less competition would likely be paid back out in margin loss.
Hope y'all have stockpiled your grand cru and brandy
