When people say "don't force your beliefs on me" what they really mean is "stop making me uncomfortable by reminding me that my entire lifestyle is based on depriving living beings of their personhood and can only be maintained through the systematic abuse and torture of the weak and vulnerable".

Like most, I 💚 #JaneGoodall, but I can’t help but be disappointed that she didn’t make her vegan position undeniable towards the end. The amount of adorers who don’t even know she was vegan is disheartening and an undeniable disservice to the animals she loved so deeply.

As I've posted on this app before; there is a through line connecting ethical veganism, gender liberation, socialist politics, queer liberation, racial justice, and ecological justice.
