Obviously veganism isn't actually "radical" or "extreme." Not in the past (well-known vegans have existed in Asia and Europe for millennia), and certainly not in an era wherein many of us have access to fresh fruit/veg, or myriad options of "plant-based" meat alternatives for those transitioning.
