vegan artist w/ a degree in medicine, a rescue dog, & radical opinions apparently
As I've posted on this app before; there is a through line connecting ethical veganism, gender liberation, socialist politics, queer liberation, racial justice, and ecological justice. Intersectionality can reach far further than most ppl realize, but we do have to keep pressing the point. GO VEGAN!

around the world. I get that libs are worried, but a week-long suspension of the host of the man show is not a hill to die on. And then of course he comes back and cries abt hurting cons' feelings over the death of CK. Fuck him and fuck them and fuck him.

At least now that these finals are over, we can go back to caring about basketball again. I mean, I think the NBA tried to make us pay attention by dropping that KD trade earlier in the day, but who gaf if he goes from PHX to HOU?? How about a MIA trade instead??? 🙏

I feel so bad for Sonics fans, whose emblems and colors were all so great. And I feel bad for OKC fans who will have to always see that monstrosity hanging in their rafters, even if they decide to change it. And for whatever city might acquire them down the road for having to inherit it.

Of course, the idea of centrism to US moderates is a subjective description. In their minds, the definition of center is the halfway point between the 2 major parties, 1 of which is in reality - and in relation to the rest of the world - right of center, and the other much more right of center.

Or else, what they mean by "moderate," is that they moderate in favor of the far-right.

And once they've been sacrificed for a few more years of their uberwealthy oligarchies, the next tier up, and so on.

Maybe the most important point to emphasize is the problem of both our politicians and the mass media being driven totally by the forces of capitalism - their ultimate goal accumulation of wealth, at the expense of the climate, planet, and the most vulnerable among us...

The democratic party is complicit, there's no denying it. That we continue allowing the mass media to portray them as the left is our fault. We need to stand up to both parties. We need to break from them. We need a new mass movement before we are dragged into proverbial hell.
