it's absolutely critical to understand in this moment that people aren't largely reacting to who Charlie Kirk was as a person, but who they knew him as because of what tiny pieces of him got clipped out and stuck in their newsfeeds.

The thing about this CDC walkout is that it will likely have no effect on the admin. Right now, thousands of MAGA and wellness grifters are rejoicing that the corruption is literally walking out of the CDC.

There's a lot about RFK jr that makes me nervous, but him mentioning "mitochondrial challenges" is extremely concerning. I have a mito disorder. I also have a family member who believes that vaccines invade your mitochondria and turn you into a demon. Does RFKjr believe this nonsense, too?

Today I saw two videos on a different app from Gen Z marketers. In one of them, the person didn't know why MS Now, formally MSNBC, no longer uses the peacock in their logo. She was so surprised to discover that that rainbow of colors had a peacock head carved into it. It was news to her.

I'm in a weird place with AI copywriting. I think we need to stop trying to see AI in everything people write, but then also when every brand sends an email that says "this is where x meets x" I want to scream "THAT'S AI"

If anyone somehow missed memo from 8 years ago: People from every sector need to be part of the resistance, it is not just up to activists. It’s up to doctors, nurses, teachers, professors, students, writers, parents, artists, designers, farmers, corporate folks, etc… If you’re enraged, get engaged.
