This feels especially relevant in Canada today
Tonight, I'm thinking about Virginia Guiffre, and the exhaustion of watching bad men escape the consequences of their actions.

Such disrespect. The night the @pwhlcharge.bsky.social punch their ticket to the final is the night the NCC decides to block Queen Elizabeth Drive to tear down the canal structures. Guarantee it would have been changed if it was a men’s game.

Every Canadian upset w/ Cross Country Checkup for treating annexation rhetoric w/ sombre feigned objectivity should do this. Name both Editor-In-Chief Brodie Fenlon & Ian Hanomansing. Specifically mention how the debate normalizes rhetoric that promotes violation of sovereignty & international law.

We're on a big Monsters Inc. in our house right now and I just want to talk about how much I love the message of Mosnters University for kids.

Sometimes, you can't do the thing.

You can learn everything about it. You can work hard and try your best.

This reads like a Conservative campaign ad. It takes until the last paragraph of the email to mention that the Liberals have made the same promise.

Imagine a world where we had Ontario had an extra $4.4 billion dollars to invest in healthcare and education... and all we'd have to trade for it is $200 apiece and buying beer & wine at the beer store & LCBO like we did for my entire life until this year.

I graduated high school in 2003 and two students from my school were expelled for being pregnant.(the men weren't, tho!)

They also allowed anti-choicers to post graphic anti-abortion signs along the school grounds.

And this was a publicly funded high school here in Ontario.

Defund them now.
Fun fact. Catholic high schools used to expel(not suspend)girls who were pregnant bc they were bad for the school’s image.

The fathers stayed&their reputations were protected. Feels like we’re on a slippery slope back to that for girls in catholic schools.

The public high school had a daycare.

US is worried about this Supreme Court possibly allowing something to happen that has always been the case in Ontario.

Might be worth some reflection on our part.
