It really depends but generally I don't like when authors add sequels/series to standalones. Like it's very rare the story needs it. Mostly side eyeing tradpub tho since there's other factors at play and other decision makers besides the writer 🤑 #writinglifemonthly

I think I'd be ok if I just avoid the woods hehe. Currently reading Spider Moth by Amara Lynn, which takes place in Forks (like in Twilight). I'd prob have a good time doing the touristy Twilight things loool #writinglifemonthly
