Growing up, my mom and grandparents always warned me: ‘You’re paying into Social Security, but you’ll never see a dime.’
W/ everything going on, I can’t help but think-they were way too optimistic. In a twisted way, I’m relieved my mom isn’t here to see this-b/c THIS would have broken her heart.
