I need to figure out a new feel-good TV show to rewatch.

I took today off work to get the major stuff done before all of the people descend upon our home this weekend, and I couldn’t figure out why I was FREEZING.

I just found out that the football team this household supports* has a mascot who wears a THONG sometimes?! And he also BUNGEE JUMPS?! I cannot believe I did not know this before now.

I saw a craft/home decor influencer share that she’d found a festive slideshow on YouTube to play on her TV during a party, to help the there be less of a dark hole in the room.
I’m not sure that method works as well on a behemoth, but it’s fun and better than a blank giant TV screen!

I restarted my rent the runway and bought a couple new sweaters. I might go try on jeans tomorrow. I am fairly confident that I will soon have more than two pants with buttons that fit.
Not having many clothes that fit my current body is really bumming me out.
After having mostly the same size/shape for 20 years, finding what works now feels stressful and expensive and overwhelming.

Got my nails done tonight and the nail tech really hit it out of the park this time! I didn’t do a great job communicating what I wanted last time, so I’m glad we were on the same page today. It’s really fun to have fun nails!

My hair has thinned enough around my front hairline/part that it is visibly noticeable. I think this particular situation is fucking with my head more than any self image related issue has ever bothered me before.
