I think Grizz fans are finally cracking under the weight of weird, aesthetically odd basketball players. Jaren is one of the most effective iso drivers in the game despite looking like Bambi on ice, Ja clicks his knees before he shoots elbow out threes, & our center is Boris Karloff. Save us, Ced!

Feels like the handle will be Cedric’s swing skill in terms of his ceiling. Might also be something of a swing skill in terms of future team building looking further down the road.

Spooky the degree to which Jaren’s shooting percentages and general averages are nearly identical to last season. Playing a little less. Shooting a lot fewer shots.

I think when Ja gets traded it likely won’t be because he wanted/requested it.
I think his moodiness & lack of effort are being put into the bucket we understand of “disgruntled star wants out.”
I think he’s just an emotional person frequently in negative circumstances w/ poor coping skills.

Unlikely but I wonder if the increased caution (good) w/ calf strains could be the beginning of something that eventually creates change in the league.
If every star with a calf strain is going to miss 3 to 12 weeks we are going to be watching even fewer high octane games than we already are.

Given the timing of the Edey return, if we had a single functioning body to play point this would set up a real possibility for the team to look better without Ja and fan the flames of this whole situation.

I think we are at a point (I believe for the first time though some will disagree) where it would be nearly impossible for the front office to say no if they found a sucker.
